Insurance industry veteran Louis Hobson, based in Chicago, is the senior vice president for North America Flood Insurance operations for Chubb, the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company. Louis Hobson also became a board member of Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings in 2021. The company has a national network of freight terminals in the United States and Mexico.
Mr. Hobson received a bachelor of science in electrical engineering with a minor in management engineering from Stanford University in 2004. He later pursued a master of business administration from the same university, graduating in 2008.
An ardent football fan, Louis Hobson played for the Stanford Cardinal and was a member of the Rose Bowl team in 2000. At Stanford, he started as a defensive end for two years. Mr. Hobson was drafted by the Ottawa Redbacks of the Canadian Football League in 2003. In addition to football, Louis also follows many other sports. He is a fan of Manchester City FC, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Toronto Raptors.
